} From streets of Mumbai to LA, Kings United come out as World Champions

It takes courage to let your guard down and get up on stage to show the world that you're the real champions. Kings United, the hip-hop dance group has become the talk of the town from the time they won NBC’s Dance reality Show ‘World of Dance’. It has become the second Indian group to be invited to the show. Their journey from the streets of Nalasopara, a suburb in Mumbai, to Los Angeles has been inspiring.

The group was founded in 2008 by Suresh Mukund. They rose to fame when they emerged as winners of India's Got Talent season three in 2011. They also won a bronze medal at World Hip-Hop Dance Championship in 2015. In 2016, they opened their own dance academy, "Kings United Kingdom of Art" in Vasai. Suresh and his team’s journey was the inspiration behind Remo D’Souza’s movie “Anybody Can Dance 2.

Fresh from their big conquest, the team spared some time for an exclusive chat with actfaqs.com about the global championship and their future plans. Stay tuned to this space for the complete interview.
