} Keeping alive the rich heritage of Indian Classical Music - Surel Sabha

The touch bearer of the legacy, Pt. Bhuvanesh Komkali will be performing in Pune this weekend along with Prashant Pandav, Tabla Player and Rohit Marathe, Harmonium Player. Founded by the Late Shri Rajanikant KarnikSurel Sabha bestows five concerts every year with leading vocalists of India. Bhuvanesh is taking forward the timeless legacy of his Grandfather Kumarji’s values and philosophy by organizing shows and concerts across the country and keeping the essence of Indian classical music alive. 

Born into a family of musicians, Pt. Bhuvanesh was destined to be a singer. He received his training in music from his father Shri Mukul Shivputra and grandfather Pandit Kumar Gandharva. He has been Facilitated with several governments recognized awards. Shri Bhuvanesh has also composed music for a Hindi movie 'Devi Ahilya'. Presently he is working towards preserving Pandit Kumar Gandharva's music through digital technology.
