} Raja Kumari Becomes The First Indian To Perform At Grand Prix

Indian-American songwriter-rapper Raja Kumari, whose stage shows have always been a blend of Indian and western cultures has recently shared stage with Hans Zimmer, Muse, Swedish House Mafia, Gwen Stefani and Red Hot Chilly Peppers, becoming the first Indian to ever perform at prestigious Singapore Formula1 Grand Prix. The Grammy nominated musician grew up learning Indian classical dance and is a proponent in 3 classical styles. After college, where she majored in South Asian Religious Studies, she decided to pursue a career in music.  

With hit songs like Shook, City Slums, Roots, etc. under her belt, she is one of the most loved stage performers all over the world. She has even collaborated and written for popular artists such as Gwen Stefani, Iggy Azalea, Fall Out Boy etc. Her initial breakthrough came with songwriting.
